Meet Our Team
Jarrett Arakawa
Sports Group Hawaii President & CEO
Jarrett was born and raised in Palolo Valley. He attended Iolani School and graduated in 2010. While at Iolani, Jarrett participated in varsity football, basketball, and baseball. He was the starting quarterback for two years, earning all-state honors his senior year and leading the team to the division 2 state championship. In basketball, he earned 2nd-team ILH honors and helped his Raiders win the state championship. Jarrett was an all-state utility player in baseball, eventually earning a scholarship to pitch at the University of Hawaii. He played four years there, graduating with a degree in business in 2014. Jarrett is a member of the Hawaii High School Hall of Honor, which recognizes Hawaii's top high school athletes.
He currently owns and operates his own business Ground Up Enterprises. He has been on the coaching staff of the Island Movers Collegiate Baseball Team since 2014. They take recent high school graduates and current college players to Japan annually. Jarrett is also an assistant coach for Iolani Varsity Basketball. Jarrett has always had an interest in sports and getting involved in the local community. He joined Sports Group Hawaii in 2016 with hopes of helping to build competitive sports leagues for adults.
Jarrett enjoys playing with his two dogs, going to the beach, and pursuing new business ventures.

Rylan Ikehara

Rylan was born and raised in Kalihi. He attended Roosevelt High School and played on the varsity basketball and baseball teams. Rylan attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa and received his degree in Civil Engineering. Rylan participated in several intramural sports at UHM including basketball, softball, flag football, volleyball, kickball, dodgeball, soccer, and ultimate frisbee. Rylan now works as a Project Engineer for SSFM International Inc.” He joined Sports Group Hawaii in 2016 because he believed he would be a valuable asset to a team that has common goals.
His hobbies include going to the beach, hiking, photography, and spending time with his dog.
